'Bout There

Okay, so I have been stressing getting on the scale, what with the weight gain from the past few weeks.  But this morning I sucked it up and weighed myself.

I have two more pounds to lose, and then I am back to the 49 pound loss.  This also means I am three pounds away from a 50 pound loss.

Three pounds.

Ug.  Seems like so much sometimes...

I have lost over 200 lbs. It was NOT easy. I want to loose about 20 - 50 more. We will help each other !! I 'use' to work out 3 times a week at the gym in the winter. I have quit that. I weigh the same. But not as firm. I had to buy all new spring and summer clothes! I weighed over 400 lbs. I was a MESS !! I will send you a message about it on FB !!

Crystal ~ if only these were the last three...they are just the last three until I hit my first goal. After this, I want to lose at least another 60 or 70. I have lost the weight this time just by eating differently, no exercise. The time for that will come soon, though. I am hoping to get wii fit soon. I have heard good things about it.

Dawn ~ how long did it take you to lose the weight? I am 38, and have been struggling since I was 16 to lose weight, but the worst came after I had my youngest, who is eight. I gained a lot of weight with her, and have lost and regained it all, plus some, several times since her birth. I want to get down to 160 or so, and have already lost almost 50 in the last nine months or so. Maybe 10. I just wanted to do it different this time...slow and steady...which seems to be working. I've been keeping it off (except for this little slip while on vacation) and am looking forward to losing more.

When Roy and I got married I weighed 250 lbs. Three years later he was diagnosed with cancer. I gained 200 lbs over NIGHT !! My top was over 400 lbs.

I had to changed my eating habits overnight. I will tell you the rest of my story. I sent you my email address.

Dawn ~ I don't know what would happen to me, physically or emotionally, if someone I loved was diagnosed with cancer. I dealt pretty well when they were thinking I had it, but seeing someone I love have it...I don't know.

I just turned 38 in Feb, and am ready to get rid of my weight. I have a ways to go. Did you have any surgery to lose yours?
